Taking to his Instagram yesterday, Fast Friends' powerhouse producer, writer and artist Sillkey announced that he has composed the entire score for new Netflix series "Supacell". The first trailer for the series can be described as painting 'South London as an epicentre of supernatural activity, with a comic book flair that’s charged with superhero action'. The series is definitely set to be a new superhero-style hit, with its distinct depiction of South London culture being the reason for a potentially huge success.
The brain behind the series is British record producer and film director 'Rapman'. Opening up about his reasons for making the series, he said:
"Growing up in South London," he said, "I never really saw anything that made me think, ‘Yeah, this could happen where we’re from’. But now, when you watch Supacell, you’re actually gonna think, ‘You know what? That probably could happen, you know!’
