Highlighted in Rolling Stone Australia's "Best Australian Music of the Week" article, grentperez and Lyn Lapid have teamed up this month for a new summer song "Room For You", alongside which has dropped an adorable, California-based video for the track.
"Room For You" discusses the topic of long distance relationships and how deep connections between people can still be held, despite being far away from one another. Lapid and Perez's vocals complement each other seamlessly yet the track also allows for both artists to showcase their individuality throughout. Discussing the track, Perez stated:
'I can relate to this a lot when I’m on tour; away from my people. But at the end of the day, no matter how far apart we grow, there's always room for them in my heart'
The beautifully mellow track is accompanied by an equally as tranquil music video in which both grentperez and Lyn Lapid are followed around areas in California, enjoying the day together. In discussing working with grentperez, Lyn Lapid stated:
“Working with Grant was so much fun. We wrote ‘Room For You’ and it was one of the most fun and wholesome sessions I’ve ever had. He is so energetic and insanely talented. Even during the video shoot when we were sightseeing around Los Angeles, it truly felt like a road trip on an off day. Our song is so wholesome and refreshing, and the video encapsulates it perfectly,”
