FARR has released their latest EP today titled 'Blink Twice If You're Okay', which features the popular singles 'In Need Of A Friend' and 'Doom Gloom'. Additional tracks by the duo that made the EP include the opening song 'Answers' (co-written by UK band Jungle), the soul-influenced summer track 'Make It To Summer' and poetically-gritty track 'Restless Child' to close the record.

The entire EP can be described as blending R&B with alternative, electronic sounds whilst continuously layering Romeo's silky vocals with Linden's well-crafted beats, strings and horns throughout. FARR state that 'Blink Twice If You're Okay' is the 'culmination of years of work' and is the result of having experienced 'love, loss and heartbreak'. The songs take the listener on a journey through their storytelling and all have all come together to create a body of work that FARR state is their 'proudest work yet'. The release comes after FARR have just wrapped up a US tour supporting rapper and producer Erick the Architect.

Talking about the EP, Atwood Magazine says:

Between powerhouse vocalist Roméo’s smooth, raspy, and soulful delivery and bassist/producer Linden Jay’s natural proclivity for the infectious groove, Blink Twice If You’re Okay is a truly groundbreaking project that leaves listeners amazed and inspired, considering that they’ve only just begun.

FARR explains how the track 'Answers' came to be:

“Answers” came out of a hang we did with our friends Lydia and Josh from Jungle. We weren’t writing for anything specific other than to just make a fun tune. Josh challenged us to write really simple words and not over think anything; it came to life really quickly. “Answers” ended up being a song about the unknowingness of life and accepting things as they come. It was the last song we wrote for the project and also one of our favorites.”
